Membership/Attendance Information

 

Who can attend:

Anyone can attend the user group meetings. You do not have to be a member.

Membership is based on company or corporate membership and offers benefits for the employees. A one-time fee of $200 gains your company and all employees lifetime membership into BWDB2UG, which provides reduced fees for the employees.

If your company is already a member, it will be listed in our membership list. If it is not and your company would like to become a member, contact one of the Board Members to request a company membership. Please contact a board member for any questions concerning your company's membership.

Costs:

Costs for regular meetings:  
  Pre-registered members: $20
  Pre-registered non-members: $30
  At-the-door for members: $30
  At-the-door for non-members: $40

To pre-register, you can 1) use PayPal or you can 2) pay by check. Usually, pre-registrations must be received by 5 business days prior to the meeting day. Please see the particular meeting notice for the specific date, as this can change.

1) To pre-register with PayPal, go to the meeting notification and click on the PayPal icon and follow directions. Then email the user group with the attendee's and employer's names.

2) To pay by check, you can mail the appropriate fee with attendee's and employer's names to:

We only accept cash or checks at the door.


Directions to the Sheraton Columbia Hotel:

From Baltimore and North
Take I-95 South and exit Rt. 175 West (exit 41B). Travel 6 miles on 175 West. After crossing Rt. 29, go through 5 lights. After the 5th light, make first left onto Wincopin Circle. The Sheraton Columbia Hotel and Conference Center is located at the end of the Wincopin Circle, on the lake.

From Washington and South
Take I-495 East to I-95 to Rt. 32 West. Travel 3 miles North to Rt. 29 North. Travel 2 miles on Rt. 29 North to Broken Land Parkway (exit 18B). Follow signs for Columbia Town Center to Little Patuxent Parkway. Turn right and go through 3 lights. Wincopin Circle is on the right. Go to second entrance of Wincopin Circle and turn right. The Sheraton Columbia Hotel and Conference Center is located at the end of Wincopin Circle, on the lake.
